Operations Manager

Datashift is looking for an Operations Manager who will take end‑to‑end ownership of our internal operations. You combine a strong consulting reflex with operational maturity and have the drive to professionalise, scale and continuously improve our operations. 

Your Role 

As Operations Manager, you work as a right hand of our Operations Director in taking responsibility over the operational backbone of Datashift. You bring structure, rhythm and reliability across teams and domains, with a clear focus on scalability in a growing consultancy environment. 

You will: 

• Drive the operational cadence across the organization — finance, HR, marketing, office — keeping the rhythm tight and reliable. Take ownership and actively intervene to improve. 

• Focus on process improvement and automation. Bringing structure and clarity in a fast evolving organization. 

• Act as liaison between business domains and senior management, ensuring decisions are followed through and outcomes are delivered.  

• Keeping the planning and forecasting processes sharp. Identifying risks and ensuring actions are taken and followed through 

• Actively drive the further rollout of an AI supported organization 

• Take part in the post-acquisition integration of future acquisitions in helping aligning processes and operations. 

What We’re Looking For 

You are an operationally strong, process-driven professional who thrives in environments where not everything is fully defined yet — and where ownership, maturity and structure truly make a difference. 

You bring: 

• 5 to 15 years of relevant experience in operations, consulting, project management or a comparable environment. 

• Of the utmost importance: strong analytical and organizational skills. You identify patterns, make decisions and only stop when outcome is delivered 

• You communicate with clarity and directness. Saying what needs to be said, while keeping stakeholders on board.  

• At all times, your actions are guided with the bigger picture and Datashift’s best interests in mind. 

• Proven experience managing operational processes and organisational cadences. 

• A strong consulting reflex: comfortable with planning, forecasting and operating in a high-responsibility environment. 

• The maturity to take ownership, challenge when needed and push things forward till tangible outcomes 

• Fluency in Dutch and English. 

• Data or analytics knowledge is nice to have, not a must.
